Introducing magicWall: IP-Network Driven Video Walls Without Rewiring
When designing a Control Room Video Wall, traditional installations often suffer from complex, expensive cabling and rigid hardware matrices. Long-distance HDMI or DVI runs add high infrastructure costs and severe deployment limitations.
magicWall by DEMUK is a modern AV-over-IP Video Wall Controller solution that transforms how video signals are routed—delivering high-definition content seamlessly over your existing building LAN infrastructure.
1. What is AV-over-IP and Why is It Superior?
Unlike traditional hardware matrices that require dedicated video cables to every display, magicWall encodes video signals into standard IP network packets transmitted over standard Ethernet cabling (Cat5e/Cat6):
Cost-Effective Infrastructure: Leverages existing building network setups, significantly reducing cabling and installation labor costs.
No Distance Limitations: Video signals can travel as far as your local network extends without signal degradation.
2. Unlimited Layout Flexibility & Intuitve Control
Through magicWall's intuitive management interface, operators can easily control complex Video Wall layouts from a PC or tablet:
Drag-and-Drop Interface: Effortlessly drag CCTV streams, analytical dashboards, or PC outputs onto any screen area.
Multi-Window & PIP: Supports Picture-in-Picture, seamless window resizing, and multi-source display across video wall grids.
3. Seamless & Unlimited Scalability
Upgrading traditional video walls often requires replacing expensive central processor units. With magicWall, adding new screens is as simple as plugging an additional IP decoder into your existing network switch.
Conclusion
magicWall provides an enterprise-ready, flexible, and scalable foundation for control rooms, command centers, and corporate displays—eliminating cabling complexity while lowering total cost of ownership.
